Bright new up-to-date quarters welcomed town employees who began working in the new “Municipal Government Building” Monday morning.
The move was accomplished over the weekend so there was little disruption for people dealing with town staff.
The new facility is home to all senior management which will improve communications between departments as well as services to our residents, wrote the town’s communications coordinator, Joanne Gaudet in a media release.
“Another feature of the new Municipal Government Building is the increase of meeting room capacity. The new facility is fully wheelchair accessible with power doors and an elevator.
“We look forward to seeing you at our new location and invite the public to attend the first council meeting in the new council chambers on Aug. 26.
The building is located beside Lions Legacy Park at 5012 48 Avenue.
