UPDATED: Attempted child abduction near Mother Teresa

An attempted Child abduction happened on June 22 near Ecole Mother teresa.

On June 22, around 4 p.m., an attempted child abduction occurred in the area around Ecole Mother Teresa and Old Boomer Road.

The 12-year-old boy was approached by a man in an older grey Honda four-door car. The man grabbed the boy by the arm and attempted to pull him into the vehicle. The boy managed to pull away from the man and run to safety.

The RCMP has released a sketch of the suspect involved.

The male was described as:

  • Caucasian
  • 25-30-years-old
  • Medium Build
  • Bald
  • Wearing a black hoodie over his head
  • Wearing sunglasses

The vehicle was described as an older Honda 4-door with one black rim.
