Notice of Public Hearing for Bylaw 1891-2024

Offsite Levies are charged to property developers to help pay for roadways, water mains, sewers, and wastewater infrastructure. The Town is proposing an update to the current Offsite Levy Bylaw 1867/2022.

The Legal Details

Bylaw 1891-2024, Offsite Levy Bylaw

• The Town is proposing to update and replace the current Offsite Levy Bylaw 1867/2022 with Bylaw 1891-2024 in accordance with the requirements of Alberta Regulation 187/2017, as amended, known as the Off-Site Levies Regulation.
• The proposed Bylaw 1891-2024 includes updated Offsite Levy rates (Schedule A), a map of the associated areas of Town (Schedule B), infrastructure maps showing the location of the offsite levy projects (Schedule C), and Offsite Levy Report (Schedule D).
