November 22, 1948 - April 24, 2022
In Loving Memory ~
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Arthur Kurtz on April 24, 2022, at the age of 73.
He will be forever remembered and sadly missed by his wife Danielle, his son Michael (Monica) Kurtz and their 3 boys Hayden, Hunter, Hudson. His daughter Lynne (Nick) Tirpak, as well as all his brothers and sisters and their families.
Art was predeceased by his parents, Margaret & Vincent Kurtz, his siblings, Jenny, Gordon, Theresa and Lorina.
Art was born in Leader, SK on November 22, 1948. Art lived the majority of his life in Sylvan Lake, and everyone one who knew Art, knew him well as 'Art the Butcher'.
Most days you could find Art still working, chatting and joking with customers who loved him, and always followed him around to wherever he was working.
If Art wasn't working, you would find him playing a round of golf, camping, or being the best papa by playing with his grandsons who he loved dearly.
He will never be forgotten. In our hearts he will stay and always be in our thoughts.
A Celebration of Art's Life will be held at a later date.
