With heavy hearts the family of Charlie Parsons announce his passing.
Charlie was quick with a smile, a joke or a prank and his family quickly learned to be wary of that sly grin of his.
He loved fishing, camping and just being in the outdoors.
He dearly loved kids and seemed to be able to keep a little bit of the child alive inside himself - giving his family many a laugh.
Charlie is predeceased by his parents Winnifred (Pafford) and Bertram and his siblings: Bill, Carrie, Fred, Marion and Ed. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 59 years Shirley Marie (Short) formerly of South Brook, NL and his children: Shirley (Carl) St. John's, Sonya (Bill) St. John's, Bert Innisfail, AB. and Sam (Sheri) of Penhold, AB.
He is also survived by his grandchildren: Lindsy (Steph) St. John's, Jesse (Jessica) St. John's, Justin (Chelsey), Quinlan, and Morgan of Penhold AB., his brother Bob of St. Anthony, NL as well as many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place.
