Dennis Cameron Bramall passed away on February 28, 2019 with his family by his side.

Dennis was born on May 24, 1932 in Red Deer, Alberta to parents W.E.(Bob) and Peggy Bramall.

Dennis was predeceased by his daughter Vicki, his parents, his sister Margaret and brothers Bob and Fraser.

Dennis is survived by his wife Ardis, children Colleen (Ken), Daryl (Michelle), Glenda (Curtis) and Les (Sherry) and grandchildren Jocelyn, Patrick, Spencer, Landon, Zachary, Taylor, Meagan, Holly, Kari, Logan, Byron, Lane, Tyler, Callie and Shelby and 15 great-grandchildren, a sister Allison Storey of Courtenay, B.C. and a brother Peter in Tokoroa, New Zealand.

Dennis worked very hard from a young age, working on the home farm and for several friends and neighbours during harvest.

His dream was to own a farm, 100 head of cattle and have a nice house.

On February 6, 1955 he married Ardis (Norre) and they settled in the Evarts district, starting their farm and family.

Early in his family years, Dennis hauled logs in the winter and gravel in the summer, buying his own gravel truck.

No matter who it was building a new house or barn, they could count on Dennis being there with his hammer and tool pouch, leveling and squaring everything up.

Dennis was very active in community organizations and spent countless hours volunteering his time and received numerous awards recognizing his contributions.

He served as President of the Benalto Agricultural Society, Benalto Curling Club, Red Deer Feeder Association and Sylvan Cattle Co. and Secretary of the Benalto Rodeo. He spent a lot of time with his children in their 4-H Beef and Horse Clubs.

Dennis loved all life on the farm, from training his newest cattle dog to cattle drives bringing the cows home in the fall.

Spending time in the west country camping and horse back riding with his family or hunting with his friends, checking crops with his sons and grandsons or frequently arriving home with a new horse or saddle for his girls or granddaughters.

A Funeral Service was held Wednesday, March 06, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Sylvan Lake Alliance Community Church,4404 47 Ave, Sylvan Lake, AB T4S 1N4.

In memory of Dennis donations may be made to the Lacombe Long Term Care Center, 5430 47 Ave, Lacombe, AB T4L 1G8 -or- the Red Deer Hospice Society, 99 Arnot Ave, Red Deer, AB T4R 3S6.
