January 1, 1921 - July 21, 2018
Mrs. Emma Kurtenbach, aged 97 years, formerly of Sylvan Lake AB, Weyburn SK and the Wild Rose district near Shellbrook SK, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2018 at the Sylvan Lake Bethany Care Facility.
She is predeceased by her husband Leonard Kurtenbach in 2006, parents Fred and Mae Gale, brothers; Hillard Gale, Cc Gale, and Orie Gale, and sisters Eunice Remfert and Ethel Benson.
Emma is survived by her daughter Kim (Al Parker of Sylvan Lake, grandchildren Brooke Parker (James Dodd) and Schane Parker and great-grandchildren Ava and Ben Parker.
A Memorial service for Emma will be held in the chapel of the Sylvan Lake Funeral Home, 5019 47a Ave, on Wednesday July 25, 2018 at 2:00pm.
For those wishing to make a memorial donation in Emma's name the family has requested that donations are made to the Canadian Alzheimer's Society.
