Evelyn Louise Johnson of Sylvan Lake, formerly of Red Deer, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the age of 94 years.
Evelyn will be deeply missed but loving remembered by her son Don (Verna) Johnson; daughters Virginia Parsons, Louise (Jim) Smith, Bernice (Butch) Smithman; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. Also to cherish Evelyn's memory is her brother Verne Biswanger; sister Kit Lightbown as well as numerous other family members and friends.
A Funeral Service to honor Evelyn's life will be held at the Deer Park Alliance Church, 2960 - 39 Street, Red Deer AB on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so between 10 am and 10:50 am prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to The Lending Cupboard Society, 5406 C - 43 St., Red Deer AB T4N 1C9. Condolences to Evelyn's family may be emailed to meaningful@telus.net.
