On August 30, 2015 we said goodbye to our friend, Dad, Grandpa, jazz musician, role model and favourite comedian, Jim Guloien.
Jim will be missed profusely, as he was not only a husband, father and grandfather, but a best friend to his family. From tips on politics, real estate and finance to relationships and shoes, his intelligence and insight was limitless.
He leaves behind too many loved ones to list in a book, let alone a paragraph. Anyone who was lucky enough to meet him was moved by his kind heart, quick wit and legendary sense of humour.
In honour of this amazing man, we ask that you listen to a song with a good beat, shamelessly tell your worst joke and think of him when you pick out a great pair of heels. Remember him smiling, laughing, dancing, cracking jokes and killing an alto solo.
A promise to celebrate and remember Jim is in the works for this summer of 2016.
