DOWN, Laurie Colleen
July 29, 1957 - Oct. 18, 2016
Born in Tofield, AB the 2nd daughter of Doug and Marvel Down. Laurie grew up in Ryley, Athabasca and Yellowknife, NWT where she graduated High School then moved to Black Diamond, AB to be closer to family. Laurie suffered from Type 2 Diabetes and died from natural causes at her home in Okotoks, AB.
She will be deeply missed by her family Doug Down, Connie and Andy Cicoria, Wendy and Gilles Lafontaine, Cindy and Peter Regier, her 13 nieces and nephews along with their 21 great nieces and nephews.
Laurie was known for her kindness, generosity and lovely heart. Laurie loved all animals, Elvis Presley and most of all, her family. She always thought of others before herself.
A Celebration of Laurie's Life will be held Friday, October 29, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Tudor Stables. Condolences can be left for the family at www.snodgrassfuneralhomes.com
