Yvonne Rasmussen of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at the age of 82 years.
Yvonne was born in Sylvan Lake, AB on February 4, 1937 and graduated from Sylvan Lake high school.
She enjoyed self-employment as the co-owner of Cleopatra Fashions and also C'est Casual Boutique with her daughter Shelley
For many years Yvonne curled and golfed at a competitive level in the Calgary area. She was a member of both Willow Park GC and Canyon Meadows G&CC. Yvonne will be most remembered for the love she showed her family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family and she was particularly proud of her grandson Ryan.
Yvonne is survived by her son Marlon Rosychuk of Cloverdale, BC; her daughter and son-in-law Shelley and Gerry Desmarais of Calgary; and her grandson Ryan Desmarais of Calgary. Yvonne is also survived by her two sisters and brothers-in-law, Pat and Dietrich Ammeter and Audrey and Howard Bishop. Yvonne was predeceased by her husband Kai Rasmussen, and her parents Helen and Lawrence Flick.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E., Calgary, AB) on Monday, September 30, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
