Feb 25, 2018
June passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, February 25, 2018 in Regina, SK, at the age of 88 years.

She was a bright, cheerful soul who found humour in all things.

June was proud to be a teacher, graduating from Saskatoon Normal School with her Class C Teaching Certificate.

She spent a great deal of her life serving the Lord through her role as an Anglican minister's wife, and later was ordained herself in February of 1990.

June had amazing talents as a singer and pianist, often playing the part of organist for many choirs. She supported several parishes and parishioners in her various roles and took great pride and pleasure in helping others.

For her work with youth, she received the Alberta Centennial Medal in 2005 honouring outstanding Alberta citizens.

June tinkered with writing, crocheting, and was an avid reader.

She will be greatly missed by the William Booth Special Care Home residents and staff, where she spent her last few years.

June was often called upon to speak on behalf of all residents during special celebrations.

Thank you to all who befriended her and supported her there.

Many thanks to Dr. Dalkilic and the staff at Regina General Hospital for their expert care during her final weeks.

June was predeceased by her parents, Forrest and Mabel Scharf; her brothers, Dr. Robert Scharf and Thomas Scharf; and her husband The Venerable Archdeacon Clement F R McFadden.

Left to mourn her passing is her son, Robert McFadden of Sylvan Lake, AB; daughters, Mae Stohl (Gary) of the Resort Village of Island View, SK, Carol Craig (David) of Creighton, SK, and Fran Argue (Dale) of Swan River, MB; grandchildren, Frances Stohl (Troy Ogden), Courtney Biberdorf (Ryan), Graham Craig, Becky Courtney (Shayn), Brad Argue (Cara Gulay), and Jayson Argue; great-grandchildren, Hailey, Hayden, Blake, Ariel, and Alex.

June will also be missed by her siblings, Dr. Larry Scharf (Shirley), C. Ralph Scharf (Louise), Dr. Murray Scharf (Marjorie), and Patricia Brown (Keith); and many loving nieces and nephews.

A private family gathering is planned with interment to follow in Saskatoon, SK.

Family and friends so wishing may make donations, in memoriam, to William Booth Special Care Home, 50 Angus Road, Regina, SK S4R 8P6.
