Maxwell George
Maxwell George Little passed away peacefully on January 13, 2015 at the age of 85 years, following a brief illness.
Max was born in Calgary and spent all of his life between Calgary and Sylvan Lake. In 1970, he married the love of his life, Yvonne, and took on the role of father to her 3 amazing children. Max spent 47 years working for General Electric out of Calgary, where he was a salesman. After retiring in 1994, Max devoted his time to spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed golfing, curling and spending time at the Legion and cabin.
Max will be deeply missed by his 5 loving children: Darcy(Cheryl), Dwight(Karen), Crystal(Rob), Patrick(Andrea) and Candice(Harvey), as well as 13 grandchildren and 2 precious great grandchildren. He will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews and family friends. He was predeceased by his wife Yvonne Little (nee Cairns), his parents William and Mary Little, and his brother William "Bill" Little.
A memorial service was held at the Chapel of the Sylvan Lake Funeral Home in Sylvan Lake, Alberta on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 11:00 A.M.
