Merle Denise Cozman

April 15, 1955 - February 21, 2023
In loving memory ~
Merle Denise Cozman was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She left this world suddenly on Tuesday, February 21st, 2023, at the age of 67.
She was born in Regina, SK on April 15th, 1955 where she was raised by her parents Bill and Loretta (Dorsch) Cozman. She graduated high school and moved to Saskatoon, SK where she met her first husband, Pat Hrynchyshyn. They married in 1976 and settled in Alberta where they were blessed with four children. After divorcing in 1983, Merle travelled North America playing concerts & events with her band. It was in 1991 when she met Bruce Reimer and they eventually settled in Sylvan Lake to be close to their children.
She loved her family with all of her heart. There wasn't anything she wouldn't do for Bruce, her children or her grandchildren. Merle joins her mother Loretta, her father Bill, brothers Billy and John and her sister Linda in Heaven.
She leaves behind her husband Bruce, brother Jim (Tracey), and children Patrick, Kevin (Ashley), Danielle and Billy, three grandchildren, Sofiya, Jade and Hendrix, as well as countless friends and acquaintances.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Sylvan Lake Family and Community Centre 4725-43rd Street, Sylvan Lake AB on Saturday, April 15th, 2023 at 2:00 pm.
