Dear Editor,
In this letter I would like to extend sincere sympathy to the many families In the community who have suffered illnesses, bereavements, and other personal upsets during the past year.
Many of you have worked extensively for the well being of others within the community, simply by caring about you friends and neighbours, and by doing the best you could without fanfare or flourish, just doing.
Some of the younger people showed great potential for a life of service.
So please accept this note in the spirit it is intended.
