I’d like to thank the good Samaritan who helped me when my scooter stopped on my way home from Walmart, last Wednesday (June 13).
I’d gone to Walmart because there was no forecast for rain and the skies looked clear. But when leaving after about half an hour it was starting to sprinkle.
My scooter doesn’t like dampness and after about a block it quit. While I was freewheeling it back towards the lodge a kind gentleman in a van, with a young child, stopped and offered to assist me.
He packed my scooter into his vehicle and delivered me back home to the Sylvan Lake Lodge.
Your kindness was certainly appreciated.
