The afternoon of Dec. 20th, a good samaritan showed up to assist us.
We are an elderly couple from Drumheller and were in Sylvan Lake when our truck stopped. We were able to roll out of the traffic and I got on the phone to AMA and was put on hold.
As we were waiting for AMA assistance, a young man stopped his truck and asked if he could help us.
A boost was to no avail and he said it was probably the alternator and that he could put it in for us.
We couldn’t get one in Sylvan, so he took my husband to Red Deer to purchase an alternator. They came back from Red Deer and this man installed if for us. We didn’t have a pen to write his name down and my husband couldn’t remember it.
What we do remember is that he was fairly new to Sylvan and he was driving a dark (black or blue) Chevy truck.
He was definitely our Christmas angel and we would like to thank him again very much for his much needed assistance.
