How to get a seat on town council

If you have ever wanted a seat on Sylvan Lake town council or have aspired to occupying the mayor’s chair here is a sure fire way

Dear Editor,

If you have ever wanted a seat on Sylvan Lake town council or have aspired to occupying the mayor’s chair here is a sure fire way to reach your goal.

Simply start now to loudly voice your demand for lights to be installed at the Highway 11-781 intersection, lower the mountainous speed bumps on Lakeshore Drive and petition strongly for drainage work to begin on the lake’s outflow creek, which will immediately lower the water level.

Almost every voter is aware of these hot button issues and their common sense solutions, which have so far remained unsupported and undone.

Anyone who speaks up loudly for their implementation will be a shoe-in for public office when the next election rolls around. Conversely, anyone who sits on the fence or opposes them will likely go the way of the Dodo bird, which is now extinct.

Craig Little,

Sylvan Lake
