The Alberta Scotties women’s provincial curling playdowns were held in Sylvan Lake. Sponsors are sought and are given VIP seats.
Black Dog Drilling came into the seniors centre and donated 24 tickets that they had received but were unable to use. I was one of the lucky draw winners to win two of the seats for Thursday night draw.
Not only did we fill seats that would have been empty, but we were able to participate and enjoy live curling.
Often, we watch curling on TV and wonder why the seats are empty.
Black Dog Drilling in good community spirit donated their tickets to the seniors.
