Kerry Towle, MLA for Sylvan Lake will be hosting a meeting at the community centre on Aug. 21 at 7 pm.
Kerry is working on a solution to get lights at the more dangerous than ever intersection of Highways 11 and 781.
She is asking all concerned people in our area to please come and sign letters that she will present to the minister of the Department of Transportation (DOT).
If you are unhappy with this intersection, please take a few minutes to attend and sign a letter.
Hopefully several hundred letters will have some kind of impact with the minister.
I personally wonder if all of the “intelligent” people at the DOT know what could happen on a snowy, foggy morning in the winter. With the maze of steel posts in the middle of a two lane ‘freeway’ it is an accident waiting to happen. Snow removal will be another nightmare.
