The École H. J. Cody High School archery team competed in the provincial NASP (National Archery in Schools Program) competition at the Edmonton Boat and Sportsmen’s Show in March.
With 32 members attending this year, it is looking good for Cody to have a larger group for next year’s competition. Next year, nationals will be held in Alberta and it is the goal of the team to compete in that event as well.
Currently the Cody team, coached by Linda Wagers, is the only one in Chinook’s Edge School Division to have competed at the provincial level.
