One athlete from École H. J. Cody High School competed in track and field provincials at Foothills Athletic Park in Calgary on the weekend.
Wyatt Bosse placed second in junior boys 100 metre hurdles at the Central Alberta High School Zone track and field meet in Red Deer May 28 to earn a berth in provincials. He finished with a time of 15.52 seconds just over half a second behind Gernil Szmyts of Lacombe.
At provincials, Bosse placed eighth in the preliminary race and then ran to a sixth place finish in the final with a time of 15.61.
