Curlers from Teams Nedohin, Sonnenberg and Nichol got their first chance to try the ice at the multiplex during practice late Tuesday afternoon.

Twelve of the province’s elite women’s’ curling teams are in town to compete in the 2014 Jiffy Lube Alberta Scotties Tournament of Hearts through Sunday.

Reasonably priced tickets are still available for many of the draws throughout the weekend.
