Central Alberta’s Prairie Fire midget football squad closed out their inaugural season last Wednesday night losing to the defending Calgary league champion Bulldogs 36-22 in the consolation final.
Fire scoring included Myles Corrsiatto, Dustin Schaber and Tyson Maton with touchdowns.
The Fire placed five players on the league all star team. They included Myles Corrsiatto, RB (Red Deer), Adam Goode, LB (Lacombe), Joe McQuay, Oline (Red Deer), Bryce Fisher, Dline (Stettler), and Tyler Ledwos, receiver (Sylvan Lake).
