Four club records broken by Nauticals at Lethbridge meet

Six Sylvan Lake Nauticals swimmers went to Lethbridge May 4 and 5th after a break from competition.

Six Sylvan Lake Nauticals swimmers went to Lethbridge May 4 and 5th after a break from competition.

In the 10 and under age group Zoe DeJonge brought home a fifth place in 50m butterfly, third place in 100m butterfly taking a total of 47 seconds off of her best times.

Emily Girard (10) took a total of 21 seconds off of her best times and brought home a fourth place ribbon in the 100m butterfly.

In the 11 and 12 year old age group Eliana Mulholland dropped 53 seconds off her personal best times.

Elizabeth Moore (12) brought home five first place ribbons and two second place ribbons; she also broke four club records.

Ann Duffy, representing the 13 and 14 year old age group maintained a strong competitive presence, bringing home a sixth place in the 100m backstroke and getting many personal bests in her events.

Chase Murdoch, in 16 and over also had a strong showing coming in second in all his races following closely behind a 26 year old student from University of Lethbridge.

Great job to all of our swimmers. Good luck at the next swim meet May 25 and 26 in Edmonton.
