Gideon’s Golf Tournament at Meadowloands

The Gideon’s hosted its eigth annual golf fundraiser at the Meadowlands Golf Club in Sylvan Lake on Aug. 9. The tournament hosted 90 golfers. The event raised approximately $52,500 for an eight year total of over $250,000 towards the distribution of the bible in both print and electronic format. The tournament was highlighted by Andrew Enns who won one of the hole-in-one prizes. The prize was $25,000 split 50/50 with Gideon’s. That was $12,500 for Enns and $12,500 for the Gideon’s. The winning foursome this year was Josh Graber, Phil Porter, Craig Macleod and the Hole in one winner Enns. the organizers would like to thank all of the sponsors, participants, volunteers and Meadowlands for helping and making the event a success.
