In the 4-3 loss, Regina had another nine hits to pull off the victory. The Gulls had just five hits and an error.

Catcher Junior Garcia singled home a run in the first and Rowin O'Connor picked up RBI on a fielder's choice to extend the lead to 2-0.

After scoring one run in the third, Regina scored three more in the fifth to open up a 4-2 lead. Matty Fung had an RBI single in the top of the seventh to cut the deficit.
