The H.J. Cody Lakers senior boys volleyball team won the gold in the team’s home tournament over the weekend.
The Lakers hosted five other teams from around Central Alberta in the two day tournament.
Teams from Sundre, Red Deer and Olds came out to particpate as well as one team from Lethbridge.
Each team played five games in the round robin, before the playoff and championship games were held on Oct. 20.
