Nauticals achieved several milestones at Corral City Classic

Sylvan Lake Nauticals Swim Club sent 11 swimmers to the Corral City Classic meet in Calgary May 23-25.

Sylvan Lake Nauticals Swim Club sent 11 swimmers to the Corral City Classic meet in Calgary May 23-25.

Abby Bahler (7), one of the youngest swimmers in the meet, swam in four events in the 10 & under age group. She dropped several seconds in her 100 back and 50 free. Way to go Abby!

Eden Price (10) swam best times in the 50 fly, 50 free (placing sixth) and 200 free (placing eighth). Eden also placed 10th in the 100 breast.

Zoe DeJonge (10) swam best times in the 200 IM (placing second) 400 IM (placing fifth and dropping over a minute), 50 breast, 100 back (placing first), 50 free (placing first), and 200 free (placing first).

Mackenzie Siemens (11) swam best times in the 50 fly, 50 back, and 200 IM (dropping over 10 seconds).

Megan Abram (12) swam best times in the 50 and 100 back, 50 and 200 free (where she dropped over 35 seconds).

Elizabeth Moore swam best times in the 400 IM (placing first, and achieving a club record) 100 fly (placing first, and achieving her 15 & U Western Canadian Time, and another club record). Elizabeth finished first in the 50, 100 & 200 Breast. She also placed second in the 200 IM and third in the 200 back.

Ann Duffy (15) swam best times in the 50 back (placing 4th), and 50 breast (placing 9th - while also achieving a club record).  Ann also achieved a club record time in the 100 breast.

Amber Carson (15) swam best times in the 50 breast and 50 free (placing second and achieving a club record). Amber achieved a new club record in the 800 free (placing first). She also placed second in the 50 fly and third in the 100 fly.

Isaac Bahler (9) swam in the boys 11 & under category and achieved best times in all of his swims, which included the 50 fly, 50 back, 50, 100 & 200 free, and 200 IM where he dropped a whopping 35 seconds.

Nicholas Moore (13) swam best times in the 50 breast, 50 & 100 back, and 50 & 100 free (where he dropped over 12.5 seconds). That's awesome Nic!

Michael Carson (13) swam best times in the 400 IM (where he achieved a club record), 100 back (placing eighth), 200 breast, and 50 free (placing seventh).
