Nine members of the Sylvan peewee AA Lakers represented Zone 4 at the 2014 Alberta Winter Games in Banff and Canmore during the weekend.

Over 120 Zone 4 players (born in 2001) attended a tryout camp in Wetaskiwin Dec. 6-8. From that camp these nine Sylvan Lakers were selected — Luke Marshall, Ethan Weberg, Sloan Garritty, Kyle Gerrits, Zach Daniels, Kale Lavallee, Payton Wright, Kyle Richmond and Caileb Berge.

The Zone 4 team placed sixth in the tournament which saw them play three round robin games and two play down games.

All nine of these players play for the peewee AA Lakers that are 24-3-3 in SCAHL league play and currently sit in second place in the North Division.
