The Sylvan Lake Lions made it to the provincial playoffs on Nov. 10.
They played a tough game against Edmonton Mustangs at Great Chief Park in Red Deer, ultimately losing 28-12.
The Mustangs were a larger, faster and overall stronger opponent than the ones the Lions had faced previously in the season, making the fight to the championship spot a difficult one.
