Rare ‘dancing lemur’ baby born at UK zoo is doing well and delighting keepers and visitors

Chester Zoo has released the first video of a critically endangered Coquerel’s sifaka baby, also known as “dancing lemur,” that was recently born at the UK zoo. Born on 21 September to mum Beatrice, 11, and dad Elliot, 10, the rare baby lemur weighs around 120 grams (0.26 pounds) and came to the world after a five-month gestation. (Dec. 28)
